This is the poster i made from the 1960's. It represents me because when i was a child, i always watched this movie. It would make me smile and want to be able to fly away, just like her. I wanted to be able to sing like her, and be as sweet as her. It was one of my favorite movies and whenever i watched it, a smile would appear on my face. This movie brings back such good memories for me and the poster represents that. It shows her flying away from the big city she was from, and carrying a part of it with her. Because Mary Poppins was the type of Lady to not only leave marks on others, but bring a little of each place with her wherever she went. A lot of Saul Bass' posters were red and black with little of other colors. His posters were very cartoonish and harsh almost, creating a suspenseful scene. Mine on the other hand, although it still has that cartoonish feel, is realistic and gives depth with cool colors that sooth your mind rather than worry it.
Dear Chase, may I say your Marry Poppins is well made and is very creative. Though its looks nice I personally think the background of the poster would look better if it were darker but the credit things on the side tickles my fancy as well as the city being in Mary Poppins herself.
ReplyDeleteOverall your poster like a 3.7 out of 5 stars maybe a 4.
Sincerely,
Zach Huelson
